Tuckahoe Physical Therapy (TPT) is the most established private physical therapy practice in Central Virginia with a history of over 25 years.

What each patient can expect

• Delivery of all services in a professional and caring manner. Each patient is treated with respect and dignity, honoring specific requests when appropriate. Privacy can be provided in individual treatment rooms if indicated. Expert care beginning with a detailed one-to-one evaluation so that the most effective treatment program can be implemented. Family members are welcome to be involved if the patient so desires. The specifically designed treatment program with goals will be explained, monitored, and modifi ed as necessary through the course of treatment.
• Communication with appropriate health care team members including the referring physician, family physician, case manager, etc. Consultation with outside services may be suggested if there is potential benefit to the patient.
• Patient education to identify activities and lifestyles that will continue to promote well-being and also to identify risk factors that may lead to recurrence of symptoms.
